A democratic school name raises interesting questions about choice, participation, and the agreements people make in a shared learning space. I am curious about how a decision becomes something students understand and take responsibility for. That is the theme I associate with Szkola Demokratyczna democratic education . Having a voice seems meaningful when there is time to explain a view and hear what it means for others. I like the possibility of revisiting an agreement after experience reveals what needs to change.
