What interests me about exploring history through places and stories is how a broad idea becomes part of an ordinary day. An ordinary object or familiar place can open a discussion about a much larger historical story. That thought gives me a starting point for exploring local history exploration in connection with Valhalla. I would be interested in an example that shows how the idea works in an ordinary situation.
